What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lawn Care Technician position at A&M Facility Services?
We are looking for a dependable, experienced lawn care and landscaping professional to join our team. This role serves both residential and commercial clients, so we need someone who takes pride in their work, manages their time well, and can represent our business professionally on job sites without constant supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform mowing, edging, trimming, and blowing on residential and commercial properties
- Operate and maintain a variety of power equipment (zero-turn mowers, string trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers, etc.)
- Drive a company vehicle and trailer to and from job sites safely and responsibly
- Apply fertilizers, mulch, soil amendments, and other landscaping materials as needed
- Perform seasonal services such as spring cleanups, fall leaf removal, and winterization prep
- Identify and report lawn/plant health issues (disease, pests, weeds) to management
- Maintain a clean, organized truck and trailer at all times
- Communicate professionally with clients when on-site
Requirements
- 3–5 years of hands-on lawn care and landscaping experience
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to safely operate commercial mowing and landscaping equipment
- Physical ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and perform manual labor throughout the day
- Strong time management skills and ability to run a route independently
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Strong attention to detail and eye for aesthetics
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Work Location: On the road
