Job Overview:
A Love For Life is looking for a compassionate Caregiver who is dedicated to providing exceptional care to senior residents in the community. As a Caregiver, you will assist residents with daily activities, personal care, and ensure their overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Personal Care: Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Medication Assistance: Administer medications as prescribed and document accordingly.
- Meal Preparation: Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding if necessary.
- Housekeeping: Help with light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, engaging them in activities and conversation.
- Mobility Assistance: Assist residents with mobility needs, including transferring and walking.
- Observation and Reporting: Monitor and report any changes in residents' health or behavior to the nursing staff.
- Safety: Ensure the safety and well-being of residents at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a care giving role, preferably in an assisted living or healthcare setting.
- Compassionate and caring demeanour.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
