Housekeeper | A-Lodge Boulder
Location: Boulder, CO
Schedule: Part-Time or Full-Time (24-48hrs per week)
The Boulder Adventure Lodge is looking for a rockstar Housekeeper to join the team!
We are a small hotel and hostel in Boulder Canyon that focuses on Boulder’s amazing adventure sports lifestyle! We are a fun and dynamic company that puts an emphasis on sharing our passion for the outdoors with our guests and contributing positively to the Boulder community.
Applicants must have a great attitude, tireless work ethic, and passion for the hospitality industry. Experience in hotels or cleaning positions is preferable. Stoke for outdoor adventure is a plus!
Role Overview
We are looking for detail-oriented, energetic individuals to join our housekeeping team. As a Housekeeper at A-Lodge, you are the backbone of the guest experience. You ensure that every room—from our cozy private rooms to our communal spaces—is a clean, welcoming sanctuary for adventurers returning from the trails.
General Responsibilities
At the A-Lodge, we want to support our team to pursue the lifestyle that makes them happy! Full-time (30 hrs/wk) and part-time (20 hrs/wk) staff are eligible for access to Outdoor Industry Pro-Deals through Outdoor Prolink, discounts at local gear stores and free membership to the Spot climbing gyms! Seasonal staff and anyone working less than 20hrs/wk are eligible for discounts at local gear stores.
We believe in an operational style where there is no such thing as “that’s not my job.” We’re making changes to the property and our business daily, so we are looking for people who are flexible and excited to take on new challenges. - Room Turnover: Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Staging: Ensure all guest amenities (coffee, linens, toiletries) are stocked and perfectly presented.
- Common Areas: Maintain the cleanliness of the lobby, communal kitchen, and outdoor patio spaces.
- Quality Control: Inspect rooms for any maintenance issues (burnt-out bulbs, leaky faucets) and report them to the management team.
- Efficiency: Complete assigned rooms within the designated timeframe while maintaining A-Lodge’s high standards.
- Reliability: You show up on time and ready to work.
- Eye for Detail: You notice the small things that others might miss.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 30 lbs, bend, kneel, and be on your feet for the duration of a shift.
- Team Player: A positive attitude and a willingness to help out your coworkers during busy peak seasons.
- Passion for the Outdoors: While not required, an appreciation for the Boulder lifestyle makes you a great fit for our culture!
