Duties

• Prepare ingredients and assemble meals according to established recipes and menu plans, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
• Handle food with proper hygiene practices, adhering strictly to food safety regulations and sanitation standards
• Assist in menu planning by providing input on ingredient availability and preparation methods
• Cook a variety of dishes, utilizing proper techniques and knife skills to ensure efficiency and safety in the kitchen
• Serve meals efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service standards, including assisting with catering events when needed
• Manage food handling tasks such as portioning, plating, and packaging for both dine-in and take-out orders
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment, utensils, and work surfaces, throughout each shift
• Collaborate with owner to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely meal delivery

Skills

• Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within restaurant or food industry settings
• Knowledge of menu planning principles and meal assembly techniques
• Proficiency in culinary skills such as knife handling, portioning, and cooking methods
• Familiarity with food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper storage procedures
• Experience in catering services or large-scale food service environments is a plus
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting
