What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse (RN)- Community Provider for Adults with IDD position at A Little Something Different- HCS Provider?
Seeking an RN to work in a family owned and operated environment to improve the quality of life for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Looking for an RN desiring a convenient work schedule to join our team by contributing the following responsibilities:
Shift: Monday-Friday 8:00am-3:00pm
Additional shift responsibilities: a few hours per month of virtual, after hours oversight of medication administration
Additional shift responsibilities: 1 week of after hours call taking every 3 weeks
- Work under the direction of Senior RNs
- Assist with maintaining the medical records of clients and ensuring compliance with Medicaid/HCS guidelines
- Assist in training of all direct care staff in regards to health care and health status
- Assist with oversight of all medications prescribed to clients and ensure accurate monthly distribution
- Assist with coordinating medical services for clients including appointments and follow-ups as necessary
- Assist with maintaining vitals on consistent basis
- Assist with observation of patients in Adult Learning Center environment as needed during the week
- Documentation of all nursing recommendations, reviews or tasks performed
