What to Expect
- 1st Shift: Monday - Friday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm and OT as needed
- Starting at $18 depending on experience
- Growth opportunities available
What You’ll Do
- Sort metals into ferrous and non-ferrous types, including red metals
- Use chop saws, table cutters, and other hand and power tools to separate materials
- Operate forklifts to move and distribute metals to the proper locations for processing or recycling
- Maintain a clean and safe work area while following all safety procedures
- Work efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience sorting metals or working in a recycling, scrap, or industrial environment
- Knowledge of different metal types and metal recycling process preferred.
- Experience using chop saws, table cutters, and other hand/power tools
- Forklift experience and ability to safely operate heavy equipment
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- Dependable and team-oriented
