Pharmacy Technician Compensation
- $24.45 per hour
- Benefits available to full-time employees after 90 days
- 401(k) with company match available for full-time employees after 1 year of service
Pharmacy Technician Highlights
- Contract assignment with potential for permanent hire based on attendance, performance, and business needs
- Required availability: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–6:30 PM, with possible Saturday rotation
- 100% onsite
Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities
- Fill prescriptions and prepare IVs under direct pharmacist supervision
- Enter prescription and billing data into pharmacy systems
- Prepackage medications according to regulatory and internal standards
- Assist with final check process, staging medications for pharmacist review
- Package completed orders and coordinate accurate, timely delivery
- Receive, rotate, and track medication inventory, including lot numbers and expiration dates
- Assist with equipment safety checks, cleanliness, and calibration
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Pharmacy Technician Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Attendance mandatory for the first 90 days
- Active Pharmacy Technician Certification or willingness to train under a DORA Provisional License
- Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to follow regulated procedures
- Solid communication and teamwork skills
Pharmacy Technician Preferred Qualifications
- Previous pharmacy technician, IV compounding, or medical billing experience
- Experience working in a high-volume or regulated healthcare environment
