Or call at 412-823-2500.....* Manager Needs Candidates available to start ASAPob Summary:The Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe, accurate loading and unloading of products within thedistribution center.Job Responsibilities: (Primary Duties, Roles, and/or Authorities)• Load and off-load inbound and outbound shipments utilizing the WMS.• Report discrepancies between the inventory count and shipping/receiving documents.• Ensure every effort is made to load/off-load pallets in a manner that promotes safety and impedesdamage.• Locates and retrieves products as well as replenishes picking locations.• Become knowledgeable of the responsibilities of the other warehouse positions. Assist asrequired. Act as back up at times of absence or vacation.Education and Experience:• High School Diploma or GEDMust have slipsheet operation experienceKnowledge and Skills:• Ability to obtain a forklift certification.• Ability to read and interpret distribution documents.• Required to operate MHE and use an RF scanner.• Basic analytical, organizational and prioritization skills.• General distribution knowledge.• Proficient in the use of a PC.• Strong initiative and drive for results.Physical Demands: (if applicable)The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an associate tosuccessfully perform the essential functions of this job.is regularly exposed to episodes of walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, balancing, crouching, reaching,pushing/pulling, grasping, hearing, twisting, lifting, frequent use of hand to finger, handle, feel, pick or typewhich can include repetitive motion of the wrists, hands or fingers.
