Sourcing Specialist

A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Sourcing Specialist in Johnston, RI.
This is a 6–8 week temporary engagement with potential for extension, supporting the Sourcing Team. The role focuses on research, reporting, and supporting sourcing activities in a technology-driven environment. This is a full-time, onsite position, 5 days per week.

Sourcing Specialist Compensation
• Pay: $52.00–$55.00 per hour
• Benefits may be available depending on assignment length

Role Highlights
• Support sourcing managers with day-to-day sourcing activities
• Conduct market research and generate reports to support sourcing decisions
• Handle smaller sourcing deals and administrative tasks, including updating Blanket Purchase Orders (BPOs)
• Collaborate with the sourcing team and occasionally with the infrastructure sourcing team
• Follow established sourcing processes and compliance guidelines

Responsibilities
• Assist in comprehensive commodity and sourcing strategies for strategic/complex negotiations
• Perform market analysis, benchmark analysis, and spend analysis for assigned projects
• Work with business partners to establish product/service specifications
• Facilitate supplier selection and negotiation processes
• Maintain close relationships with suppliers and industry experts to identify innovative solutions
• Support contract redlining and execution for strategic purchases as needed

Required Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of sourcing experience
• Familiarity with technology sourcing and/or procure-to-pay applications (Ariba preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting
• Ability to follow detailed processes accurately
• Some college preferred

Preferred Qualifications
• Financial or technology industry experience
• Exposure to Agile contracting frameworks
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
