Mechanical Assembly Technician – SPARKS/GLENCOE, MDPay Rate: $22.05/hourSchedule:Monday – Thursday | 7:00 PM – 5:00 AM (Overnight)JOB SUMMARYThe Tech 3, Scientific Operations is responsible for manufacturing and assembling clinical and commercial products while ensuring strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). This role involves operating production equipment, performing in-process testing, validating equipment and processes, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The technologist also handles the safe removal and disposal of chemicals and assists with onboarding and training.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESManufacture and assemble clinical and commercial products using production equipmentWeigh, measure, and check raw materials to ensure batches meet ingredient and quantity specificationsAssist with in-process testing to ensure batch compliance with specificationsValidate processes and equipment related to filtration, cleaning, and sterilizationRemove and safely dispose of waste chemicals, solvents, and acidsPrepare solutions, powders, and liquids according to batch specificationsProvide training support for new hires or new proceduresSupport lead/supervisor as needed and recommend process improvementsFollow all BD housekeeping and safety policies and proceduresDemonstrate adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)Work overtime as required to meet business needsMINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma with technical certification in laboratory operations plus 3 years of laboratory experience, orAssociate degree in a scientific discipline with 2–3 years of laboratory experience, orBachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline with 1–2 years of laboratory experienceKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIESStrong teamwork and communication skillsDetail-oriented with excellent time management skillsAbility to work independentlyProficient in English: read, write, analyze charts, follow diagrams, perform basic arithmeticProficiency in Microsoft Excel requiredIf you are interested, please reach out to Chin Yang at A-Line Staffing.586-323-4194 | cyang@alinestaffing.com
