Masters Level Social Worker Hours
- M-F 8am-5pm
- Remote, but must live in OH
- Contract until December 2025 - possible chance of direct hire
Masters Level Social Worker Compensation
- The pay for this position is $40.96 an hour
- Benefits are available to full-time employees
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees.
Masters Level Social Worker Responsibilities
- Assess medical necessity and appropriateness of healthcare services.
- Facilitate optimal healthcare outcomes by ensuring that treatment is both effective and cost-efficient.
- Identify areas for continuous quality improvement and compliance opportunities, including recognizing aberrant practices and initiating corrective action.
- Educate and empower customers to ensure satisfaction, compliance, and promote patient advocacy.
- Optimize overall healthcare costs by implementing and evaluating policies in alignment with program directives.
- Collaborate with colleagues across various departments, educating and empowering them to make informed decisions at the most appropriate level.
Masters Level Social Worker Requirements
- Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW).
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in healthcare management or a similar field.
- Strong understanding of clinical issues and healthcare program efficiency.
- Ability to handle complex healthcare cases and make informed decisions on medical necessity and treatment.
