This role involves operating equipment, performing quality inspections, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting continuous improvement efforts in a regulated manufacturing environment.Machine OperatorLocation: Canaan, CTPay Rate: $20.00/hourShift: Day Shift – 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM (Alternating Schedule)Schedule DetailsThis position follows an alternating schedule every two weeks:Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, SundayWeek 2: Wednesday, FridayFlexibility to work extended hours and overtime is required based on business needs.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine production functions including filling, packing, packaging, assembling, labeling, inspecting, and utility operationsOperate machinery under general supervision while following standard operating proceduresMaintain accurate records and logs in compliance with FDA, GMP, and ISO 9000 requirementsPerform in-process quality checks and complete all required quality documentation accuratelyAssist with product requalification, rework, and quality documentation reviewSupport product and equipment changeoversAssist line technicians with equipment troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenanceKeep machinery, work areas, and floors clean and orderlyRecord production data including PPH, scrap/waste, SAP, and MES transactionsIdentify and report issues to the Cell Lead in a timely mannerParticipate in continuous improvement activities such as Kaizens, Blitzes, and KAS initiativesSupport effective shift handoff and communication between team membersWork collaboratively in a team environment to meet production and quality goalsPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsManufacturing experience requiredHigh School Diploma or GED preferredPrior industrial experience preferredMust be able to read, write, speak, and understand English (mandatory)Background check must be cleared prior to startAbility to read and interpret written specifications in EnglishAbility to perform basic math calculationsStrong attention to detail and commitment to product qualityEffective communication skillsAbility to follow instructions and work within standard practicesWillingness to rotate between tasks and responsibilitiesAbility to work flexible and/or extended hours and maintain punctual attendanceAbility to work well with others in a team-based environmentWork EnvironmentRegulated manufacturing environmentDirect supervision with established proceduresPhysically active role requiring attention to safety and quality standardsAPPLY NOW!
