We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Worker Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team. Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, unload, and move materials safely throughout the warehouse
- Perform order picking to fulfill shipping orders accurately
- Load and unload trucks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and OSHA standards
- Assist with materials handling tasks including heavy lifting and proper stacking of goods
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure mechanical safety and functionality
- Support shipping & receiving operations by organizing inventory and maintaining accurate records
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and warehouse procedures
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, or related roles within a warehouse setting
- Valid certification for forklift operation; experience with cranes, clamp trucks, and other heavy equipment preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Ability to operate RF scanners accurately for order picking and inventory management
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and materials handling
- Experience in flooring or similar industries involving heavy lifting and equipment use is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periods
- Prior experience in shipping & receiving operations is required
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to safety standards
