TUTORS NEEDED IMMEDIATELY-Katy Fulshear

A Learning & Diagnostic Services is an academic solutions provider that offers private in-home tutoring, test prep, psycho-educational assessment, and academic consulting services. We are currently seeking qualified, dedicated, and committed part-time tutors (with either a teaching certificate, a minimum of an associate's degree level of education, and/or previous tutoring experience) for all subject areas from Pre-K to adult. Tutors will earn between $19-$25 per hour, depending on areas of need, qualifications, and experience. We are interviewing applicants who can tutor exclusively in the Katy, Fulshear, Houston, and surrounding areas.

CURRENT TUTORING NEEDS

• Elementary in-home tutoring (elementary) - Katy, TX

Qualified Applicants:

• MUST reside in/near the tutoring area (Katy, Fulshear, Richmond, Brookshire areas)
• Comfortable working one-on-one with students
• Comfortable providing in-home tutoring
• Ability to create progress reports and lesson plans, teaching materials and work from school's curriculum (during the school year) and/or create own teaching materials to use (during the summer months)
• MUST have prior teaching and/or tutoring experience
• PLEASE indicate certification areas (if applicable) and/or the tutoring subjects and grade levels of interest, keeping in mind we offer tutoring services for all subjects, including foreign languages and special needs...APPLICATIONS/RESUMES WITHOUT THIS INFORMATION WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
• MUST have RELIABLE transportation
• DEPENDABLE, DEDICATED, RELIABLE, and PROMPT
• Excellent communication skills with students and parents

We match tutors with students based on their needs and your qualifications. Most tutoring sessions occur after school and early evenings in the safety and comfort of the student's home during the school year and at various times during the summer months. Applicants must be committed, dedicated, and have reliable transportation.
