Role Description The Laborer role at A Lawn Care is a full-time, on-site position based in Milford, NH. Day-to-day responsibilities include mowing, trimming, edging, and general lawn maintenance, as well as raking, mulching, weeding, and cleanup of debris on various types of properties. The role may involve assisting with planting, shrub and tree care, seasonal yard work, and basic equipment care such as cleaning and safely operating mowers, trimmers, and blowers. Laborers are expected to follow safety procedures, support the crew lead, and maintain a professional and respectful demeanor with clients and team members.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical outdoor work, including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions.
• Basic knowledge of lawn care and landscaping tasks (mowing, trimming, mulching, planting) or willingness to learn on the job.
• Capacity to safely use and care for hand tools and power equipment following company safety guidelines.
• Reliability in attendance, punctuality, and following instructions from supervisors and crew leaders.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, with a respectful, customer-focused attitude.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to the Milford, NH job site are preferred.
• Prior experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or outdoor labor is an advantage but not required.
