Traveling Commercial Painter / General Tradesman

FULL TIME IS A POSSIBILITY. This is a 2-3 week Temporary Position with potential of joining us on future projects if you can travel and become a team member.

DAY AND NIGHT SHIFTS AVAILABLE

THE FIRST LOCATION IS AUGUSTA, ME

Quality painters, drywallers, and general tradesmen needed for a commercial job in 2-3 weeks.

Brush,Roll, Spray

• Responsible for quality painting of exterior and/or interior areas of the customers property. Leading candidates will have drywall and framing experience.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Prepares area(s) to be painted by cleaning, or if necessary, scraping, sanding, patching and masking of adjacent surfaces prior to painting, papering, texturing, etc.
• Familiarizes him/herself with storage and disposal laws, regulations, codes, etc.
• Thoroughly cleans area, supplies and equipment when project is completed.
• May assist with special maintenance projects as needed.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum Field-of-Expertise: Painting
• General Demo and Drywall
• Preferred Experience: More than 6 years
• Preferred Field-of-Expertise: Knowledgeable with regards to types of paint, accessories and equipment and related application methods

SKILLS:

• Must be able to complete painting projects in a neat and timely fashion,
• Ability to take initiative and problem solve
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to present oneself as well as the company in a professional manner
• Proficient in the use of a personal computer and corresponding programs
• Attention to detail
• Interpersonal skills and customer service skills required
• Ability to follow directions and work well with others required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Contract, Temp-to-hire

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
