Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Senior iOS Developer role within the Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO) located in Washington, DC. The selected candidate will lead the development and maintenance of iOS mobile applications, ensuring efficient and user-friendly solutions aligned with the District’s goals. Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, coding, debugging, testing, and delivering high-quality mobile solutions. The role also involves ongoing enhancements, troubleshooting, and ensuring applications align with performance and security standards.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in iOS Development, Mobile Application Development, and iOS programming
- Experience with Mobile Applications and overall Software Development processes
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
- Ability to lead and collaborate within diverse technical teams
- Strong understanding of performance optimization and secure coding practices
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Previous experience in a leadership role within application development projects is an advantage
- Familiarity with government systems and regulatory compliance is a plus
