Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site Pastry Chef role based in Cocoa Beach, FL. The Assistant Pastry Chef will be responsible for preparing baked goods, including pastries, cakes, and desserts, while ensuring quality and consistency. Day-to-day tasks include baking, food preparation, maintaining kitchen organization and cleanliness, experimenting with new recipes, and adhering to food safety standards. The role also involves collaborating with the team to develop and execute creative pastry concepts.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Bakery and Baking skills
- Experience in Food Preparation and Cooking
- Strong Culinary Skills with a focus on pastry creation
- Attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Experience in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Food safety certification is a plus
- Previous experience in a pastry or bakery role is highly preferred
- French language proficiency and background is a plus
