Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated State Tested Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide direct patient care and support under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse.
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, and feeding
- Take and record vital signs
- Provide basic life support and emergency care as needed
- Assist in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment for patients
- Follow care plans and communicate effectively with healthcare team members
- Lift and transfer patients using appropriate techniques
- Document patient information accurately
Requirements:
- State Tested Nursing Assistant certification
- Knowledge of caregiving principles and practices
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations
- Experience in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred
- Ability to provide compassionate patient care
- Understanding of anatomy and medical terminology
- Physical ability to lift and move patients safely
