What are the responsibilities and job description for the HVAC Installer position at A&L Heating and Air LLC?
HVAC Installer | $29.00 to $35.00 per hour, depending on skill level
Work Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday | Some Saturdays during peak season
Job Duties:
- Installing residential and light commercial heating and air conditioning systems, accessories, and ductwork
- Some new construction - residential and light commercial
- Installations include ducted and ductless equipment
- Start up of new equipment
- Ability or experience to leading an install team/crew
- In-house paid training for NATE and EPA Certifications with an in-house proctor

Qualifications:
- 3 years of HVAC Installation experience
- Lead install experience
- Proficient at residential and light commercial functional design and installations
- Residential new construction experience desired
- EPA Universal Certification
- Extensive knowledge of HVAC equipment
- Solid understanding of line and low voltage wiring, relays, transformers, and wiring diagrams.
- Ability to read and follow blue prints and diagrams
- Correctly size, install, insulate, and seal ductwork
- Knowledge of and ability to follow city and county installation codes
- Excellent customer relation skills and open mind to think outside the box
- Valid driver's license and Insurable driving record
- HVAC Certification from trade school desired
