Job Summary: The Transportation Supervisor, Nights coordinates transportation operations for the Bensalem facility, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant fleet management while directly supervising all drivers and coordinating daily logistics activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise all Bensalem drivers, including hiring, scheduling, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
- Plan and oversee daily dispatch operations, assigning routes, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely deliveries for the Baltimore DC and assist with Bensalem DC
- Maintain compliance with DOT regulations, company safety standards, and driver documentation requirements.
- Oversee truck maintenance schedules, repairs, and inspections for the Bensalem fleet.
- Manage fueling services and fuel card programs, ensuring accurate tracking and cost control.
- Support logistics and warehouse operations by maintaining accurate delivery records, EZ-PASS accounts, and routing data.
- Analyze transportation performance and costs, identifying efficiency improvements and resolving issues promptly.
- Serve as on-call dispatcher for all A&L drivers between the hours of 10PM to 8AM
- Check out all Bensalem drivers as they arrive to take their routes each day, including providing them with route paperwork, special instructions and truck keys.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in transportation, dispatch, or fleet management (supervisory experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation compliance.
- Proficiency in routing software and Microsoft Office applications.
