What are the responsibilities and job description for the Track Deconstruction Laborers, Equipment Operators & CDL Drivers position at A&K Railroad Materials Inc?
A&K Railroad Materials is seeking Track Construction Laborers, Equipment Operators and CDL Class A drivers to join our Field Operations Division. We are looking for hard-working, motivated individuals who are dedicated to safety, teamwork and professionalism. Individuals in this division work as a small team moving from site-to-site and are responsible for all tasks related to railroad track removal, movement to a centralized location and shipment. CDL Class A drivers with little or no experience are welcome to apply. Individuals with a good work ethic in physical labor and a dedication to safety should apply. All members of the small teams will perform all tasks associated with completing the job - we don't have a "that's not my job" attitude.

These positions require up to 27 or more consecutive days of travel per month. This is a Nationwide position. A&K Railroad Materials will not require you to relocate for this remote position. Project assignments may require additional travel, with additional time off and advanced notice.
Requirements:Previous experience with the following is preferred but not required.
Equipment Operators
- 1 year experience operating front end loaders, excavators, skid steer, and other various walk behind track equipment.
- 1 year experience operating a boom truck with grapple and magnet and ability to maintain equipment.
CDL Drivers
- Experience loading and unloading equipment as well as ability to operate and maintain the equipment.
Laborers
- Experience dismantling railroad track by physical or mechanical means.
- Experience sorting railroad materials physically or with machinery.
- Experience cutting and drilling rail using hydraulic machinery.
- Ability to lift at least 30 lbs
- This position has repetitive movement such as lifting and turning.
