A&K Landscape Services is looking for hard working and energetic people to work on Hawaii's premier landscapes. A landscape manager is responsible for the cultivation and care of the landscaping and grounds surrounding a business, building or house.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all landscape maintenance operations to ensure properties are maintained to the highest quality standards.
- Lead and supervise maintenance crews in daily groundskeeping activities, ensuring efficiency, safety, and attention to detail.
- Coordinate and monitor mowing operations utilizing rotary, reel, and riding mowers to maintain a consistently polished appearance across all turf areas.
- Manage landscape edging and detailing around walkways, planter beds, curbing, walls, and hardscape features to maintain clean and professional presentation standards.
- Oversee the safe and proper application of fertilizers, pesticides, and other landscape treatments in accordance with company standards and industry best practices.
- Monitor plant health and proactively identify issues related to insects, disease, irrigation, nutrient deficiencies, and overall landscape performance.
- Direct shrub trimming, weed management, pruning, mulching, and seasonal cleanup operations to ensure landscapes remain healthy and aesthetically refined year-round.
- Ensure walkways, driveways, and common areas remain clean and free of debris through regular sweeping, blowing, and site inspections.
- Conduct routine inspections of landscape equipment and coordinate preventative maintenance and minor repairs to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
- Train crew members on proper landscape maintenance techniques, equipment operation, safety procedures, and company quality expectations.
- Maintain strong communication with management, clients, and team members regarding property conditions, project needs, scheduling, and service recommendations.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with company standards for luxury residential and commercial landscape maintenance.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00 - $45.00 per hour
