Commercial Construction Form Carpenter/Concrete

PAY IS SET BASED OFF EXPERIENCE

MUST HAVE MINIMUM OF 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN FORM CARPENTRY/ CONCRETE

We are currently offering a sign on bonus up to $500. We have operating offices in Paducah, Lexington, Nashville, and Oklahoma City. This job is for multiple sites in the Western Kentucky area. We have many projects in Oklahoma, Kentucky, Southern Illinois, Southwest Missouri, Northeast Tennessee, and Southern Indiana. This posting is for an experienced General Commercial Form Carpenter/ Concrete Finisher. Must have a minimum of 5 years previous Commercial Form Carpentry/ Concrete Experience. We ask that applicants possess the Following:

• General Commercial Form Carpentry
• Building Concrete Forms
• Concrete pouring and some Finishing
• General ability to read plans/blueprints, utilize appropriate math skills and perform layout of expansion and control joints
• Shoot grade
• Ability to organize, sequence and perform assigned tasks within schedule
• Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Installs foundations, walls, floors, ceilings, and roofs using materials such as: wood, steel, metal, concrete, plastics, and composites of multiple materials.
• Studies specifications in blueprints, sketches, or building plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials required shapes or cuts materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saws
• Follows established safety rules and regulations and maintaining a safe and clean environment
• Assembles and fastens materials to make Concrete Forms, using hand tools and wood screws, nails etc.
• Removes damaged or defective parts or sections of structures and repair or replace, using hand tools
• familiarity with proper hand tools to perform broom and slick finish on freshly poured concrete.

Must also

• Be Willing to work in Western KY area.
• Be open to periodic regional travel.
• Be able to pass a drug screen and FBI national background check
• Have general carpentry and finishing tools
• Have reliable transportation up to 90 miles one way
• Have a strong work ethic.

Pay: Pay is dependent on experience.

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed but not standard
• travelling opportunities when available

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
