Role Description
A&K Community Homes is seeking multiple full-time or part-time Job Coach to support individuals in achieving their employment goals. This on-site position, located in Exton, PA, involves working directly with individuals to assist in job training, skill development, and workplace assimilation. Daily responsibilities include coaching individuals in workplace settings, providing guidance on job performance, fostering effective communication, and empowering individuals to achieve professional growth. The Job Coach will collaborate with employers, families, and team members to ensure successful employment outcomes.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Job Coaching and Career Counseling to guide individuals in identifying and achieving their career goals.
- Strong Interpersonal and Communication skills to build meaningful relationships and effectively convey information.
- Demonstrated ability in Coaching to support and motivate individuals in developing professional skills.
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Patience, empathy, and a commitment to supporting the independence and growth of others.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in social work, education, or a related field is a plus.
