AJ Perri Heating & Cooling, providing HVAC services to New Jersey for over 50 years. We are seeking a Permit Coordinator to process all permits required for installation jobs. Will also serve as a backup install coordinator.
Responsibilities

- Receive all incoming job folders and file any/all necessary permits
- Receive all incoming calls from external customers and other departments regarding the permit process
- Provide information to Install Manager regarding proper information received for permit process
- Nurture and maintain positive relationships with Township personnel
- Prepare and process necessary payments for P.O.’s for permits
- Work with office staff to expedite “emergency” situations
- Provide Installation Manager with status to completion at the end of each business day
- Enter all information into Successware to reflect status of permits
- Work with other departments to ensure permit process is maintained (plumbing & service)
- Work with Rebate Coordinator and Inspection/Job Costing positions to ensure flow of job folders
- Direct customer calls to appropriate internal personnel as needed
- Assist Rebate Coordinator and Installation Coordinators as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. Some college desired
- 3-5 years of administrative assistant experience required. Permit application and process experience highly desirable.
- Strong computer skills required, specifically MicroSoft Excel and Word.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Strong attention to detail required
- Excellent follow up and time management skills required
- Effective communication skills, both written and oral, and organizational skills required
