The Financial Systems Administrator is responsible for the administration, support, security, and continuous improvement of the Company’s financial systems, including the property management and accounting platform (Yardi). This role serves as the primary subject matter expert for financial system functionality, user access, data integrity, and business process optimization. The Financial Systems Administrator partners with internal stakeholders and third-party users to ensure systems operate efficiently, securely, and in alignment with organizational needs.

Job Description
The Financial Systems Administrator is responsible for the administration, support, security, and continuous improvement of the Company’s financial systems, including the property management and accounting platform (Yardi). This role serves as the primary subject matter expert for financial system functionality, user access, data integrity, and business process optimization. The Financial Systems Administrator partners with internal stakeholders and third-party users to ensure systems operate efficiently, securely, and in alignment with organizational needs.
Responsibilities
Financial Systems Administration
- System Administration: Serve as subject matter expert for the Company’s property management and accounting system (Yardi). Coordinate, test, and support system upgrades, enhancements, integrations, and ongoing maintenance activities.
- User Access & Security: Administer user access, security permissions, and account provisioning within financial systems, ensuring compliance with established security standards. Maintain confidentiality and safeguard sensitive financial and organizational data in accordance with company policies and security standards.
- Data Integrity: Maintain the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of financial system data and configurations.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for internal users and authorized third parties, resolving system issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Training & Documentation: Develop, maintain, and update system administration procedures, support documentation, training materials, and change management records. Plan and deliver user training programs in both virtual and in-person environments to promote effective system utilization.
- Problem Resolution: Investigate, identify, and address root causes of system incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Continuous Improvement: Evaluate business processes and proactively recommend and implement system enhancements, efficiencies, and best practices. Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance system functionality, efficiency, data quality, and user experience.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Accounting, Property Management, Information Technology, and other business groups to support operational and reporting needs. Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, vendors, and system users to support operational and business objectives.
- Governance & Compliance: Participate as a member of corporate committees and cross-functional teams, including the Corporate Process and Compliance Committee.
- Strategic Support: Contribute to strategic projects and support the broader team in achieving departmental and organizational goals.
- Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Membership: Member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and currently temple worthy.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- Experience: Minimum five (5) years of experience supporting, administering, or implementing financial, accounting, or property management systems required.
- Technical Expertise:
- Previous experience supporting Yardi or similar property management and accounting software strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of SQL, database structures, and reporting tools.
- Understanding of accounting principles, financial processes, and internal controls.
- Knowledge of property management and real estate operations preferred.
- Training & Development: Proven ability to develop training materials and deliver effective end-user training.
- Analytical Abilities: Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, data integrity, and process improvement.
- Communication: Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to effectively support users in person and remotely.
- Professionalism & Integrity: Commitment to maintaining confidentiality, data security, professionalism, accountability, and a high level of professional integrity.
- Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to build trust, foster collaboration, provide exceptional customer service, and work independently while effectively partnering with cross-functional teams.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing business needs and technologies while maintaining a high level of service and support.
