Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Power Press Operator / Set-Up Person to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for setting up and operating power press equipment used in the production of jewelry display cards and related products. The ideal candidate will have experience with progressive tooling, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate power press machinery safely and efficiently
- Install and adjust progressive tooling and dies
- Manufacture jewelry display cards according to specifications
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
- Read and follow work orders and production instructions in English
- Accurately measure materials and products using a 6-foot ruler and measuring tools
- Perform minor machine adjustments and basic troubleshooting
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all company safety procedures and production standards
Qualifications
- Previous power press setup and operating experience preferred
- Experience with progressive tooling required
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to accurately use a 6-foot ruler and measuring tools
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift and move materials as needed
- Repetitive hand movements and machine operation required
Schedule
- Full-time
- Monday–Friday
- Overtime available as needed
