Warehouse Laborer – Container Unloading (Se Habla Español)

A&H Lumping Services Inc. unloads shipping containers for warehouses across Miami, Doral, Medley and Hialeah. We send our own crews to the customer's facility. We're growing and hiring.

The job
Unload containers and trailers by hand, stack boxes onto pallets, separate merchandise by product or order, wrap pallets. Physical work, start to finish.

You must have your own car. You'll be driving to a different warehouse depending on the day. No car, no job.

How the money works
This is not a shift job. You get paid per container, not per hour. There's no clock to watch — you finish the container, you get paid, you go to the next one.

That means how much you make is up to you. If you make yourself available, the work is there. Guys doing 2 to 3 containers in a day are making around $300 that day. If you only want to work some days, you can. If you want to make real money, be available and take the work when we call.

Morning, night and weekend work available.

Who we want
Reliable, responsible people who show up on time and actually want to work. Crews start together and finish together, so one person not showing up affects everybody. No experience needed — we train, and new hires work alongside an experienced crew member. Forklift experience is a plus.

Workers' compensation coverage. Spanish-speaking crews and supervisors.

El trabajo
Descargar contenedores y trailers a mano, estibar cajas en paletas, separar mercancía por producto u orden, envolver paletas. Trabajo físico, de principio a fin.

Necesitas carro propio. Vas a manejar a un almacén diferente según el día. Sin carro, no hay trabajo.

Cómo se gana el dinero
Esto no es un trabajo por turno. Se paga por contenedor, no por hora. No hay reloj que mirar — terminas el contenedor, cobras, y pasas al siguiente.

O sea que cuánto ganas depende de ti. Si te haces disponible, el trabajo está. Los que hacen de 2 a 3 contenedores en un día están ganando alrededor de $300 ese día. Si solo quieres trabajar algunos días, puedes. Si quieres hacer dinero de verdad, mantente disponible y agarra el trabajo cuando te llamemos.

Hay trabajo de mañana, de noche y fines de semana.

A quién buscamos
Gente responsable y seria que llegue a tiempo y que de verdad quiera trabajar. Las cuadrillas empiezan juntas y terminan juntas, así que si uno no llega, afecta a todos. No se necesita experiencia — nosotros entrenamos, y los nuevos trabajan junto a un compañero con experiencia. Experiencia con montacargas es un plus.

Cobertura de workers' compensation. Supervisores y cuadrillas que hablan español.

One thing worth thinking about, and it connects straight to your retention problem: make sure $300 is a number a newguy can realistically reach, not just your best experienced crew. If someone shows up expecting $300 and makes $140 on his first day because he's slow, that's the guy who doesn't come back on day two. If new hires typically land lower at first, say so — "experienced crews are doing 2 to 3 containers a day" reads as honest and still sells the ceiling.

Also, the Indeed pay field has no per-container option. Put a daily range there — something like $150–$300 a day — and let the description explain the structure.
