Essential Responsibilities
- Serve as a bilingual HR resource for employees, managers, and leadership in both English and Spanish.
- Support the recruitment and hiring process, including posting positions, scheduling interviews, coordinating pre-employment requirements, and preparing new-hire documentation.
- Coordinate onboarding and orientation for new employees and ensure required paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, HR files, and personnel documentation.
- Assist employees with questions regarding company policies, procedures, benefits, payroll, timekeeping, and other HR-related matters.
- Translate or explain HR policies, forms, training materials, and employee communications between English and Spanish as needed.
- Assist with benefits enrollment, employee changes, and general benefits administration.
- Support employee relations activities and escalate complex or sensitive matters to the appropriate HR leader.
- Assist with performance management, attendance tracking, disciplinary documentation, and other employee lifecycle processes.
- Maintain HR reports, spreadsheets, and other records while ensuring data accuracy.
- Assist with compliance-related activities, audits, and required employment documentation.
- Coordinate employee training and development activities.
- Partner with managers to ensure consistent communication and application of HR policies.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling employee information.
- Perform other HR-related duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 2 years of experience in Human Resources, recruiting, HR administration, or a related field preferred.
- Fluent written and verbal English and Spanish required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, HRIS, and other workplace software.
