Are you already providing around-the-clock care for your medically fragile child or sibling? Did you know you can get hired, trained, and paid a regular hourly wage to do the caregiving you are already doing?
A Good Life Home Care is officially hiring loving parents into our Georgia Pediatric Program (GAPP)! If your child qualifies, we will onboard you as an employee so you can receive financial compensation while keeping your child safe, comfortable, and at home.
Who Qualifies for This Paid Program?
To participate in this program, both you and your child must meet the following baseline state criteria:
- Child's Age: The child must be between 2-20 years old.
- Insurance: Your child must be an active Medicaid Recipient (or eligible for Medicaid).
- Medical Status: Your child must meet the state's criteria for being medically fragile (requiring assistance with daily tasks, specialized medical care, mobility support, or feeding tubes).
Important Note Regarding Autism Diagnoses:
Per state GAPP regulations, an Autism diagnosis alone does not qualify a child for these services.
- Autism cannot be the primary/only diagnosis.
- Autism can be approved if it is a secondary diagnosis alongside a primary physical or neurological condition.
- Examples of primary qualifying diagnoses include: Cerebral Palsy, Tetraplegia/Paraplegia, Spasticity, Severe Epilepsy/Seizure Disorders, Traumatic Brain Injuries, or dependency on medical technology (G-tubes, ventilators, etc.).
