Full time appliance repair technician needed to begin work immediately.
Family Owned In home appliance repair business is seeking an experienced technician to serve as a factory certified repair technician. This individual will provide fast and expert service to repair customers. We represent several appliance manufacturers for in warranty and out of warranty in home repair service. Position requires a minimum of 2 to 3 years appliance repair experience, with refrigeration sealed system knowledge a huge plus.
This open position would be responsible for the repair of products in the customer’s home. Products repaired include the following home appliances: Refrigerators, Washers & Dryers, Electric Stoves, Dishwashers, Garbage Disposers and other home appliances. This position provides timely and quality repairs of customers’ products while maintaining a high level of customer service.
We offer a paid training program which lasts from 2 to 8 weeks depending on skill level and previous experience. Once completed, the candidate will be provided a company vehicle, work phone and tablet. The individual will dispatch daily from home and travel to customers homes on a route assigned daily through a tablet. Also provided are specialty tools necessary for working on the following product lines: LG, Samsung, General Electric, Frigidaire, Liebherr refrigeration and many other brands. Sealed system tools (Lokring) equipment is also provided upon completion of sealed system training.
Technician must be able to pass drug screening and background check, have a valid drivers license and a clean driving record. Technician will need to provide his own basic tools and at least two years of diagnostic and repair experience.
Customer service skills and diagnostic experience are needed to succeed in this field. We will provide access to technical support and service manuals. The individual will be required to possess the skills to use this information to properly diagnose, troubleshoot and repair the appliances. They must also be able to properly generate a post visit report and properly explain to the customer what the issue was and how it was resolved.
During training there is an hourly rate, once running a route tech will transition to base salary plus performance bonus paid monthly.
