Duties
- Diagnose and repair a variety of household appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and dishwashers using detailed schematics and technical manual
- Troubleshoot equipment issues by interpreting electrical diagrams, ladder logic, and mechanical schematics
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform repairs and maintenance tasks with precision
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to extend appliance lifespan and optimize performance
- Communicate clearly with customers about repair processes, timelines, and maintenance tips to enhance their experience
Experience
- with or without experience
- Proven experience in appliance repair or maintenance with a solid understanding of refrigeration systems and electrical work
- Familiarity with reading schematics, ladder diagrams, and mechanical drawings for troubleshooting complex equipment
- Hands-on experience with plumbing, electrical wiring, assembly, and equipment repair techniques
- Knowledge of MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) procedures to ensure safety standards are met during all tasks
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized diagnostic equipment for effective repairs
- Strong customer service skills combined with technical expertise to provide professional support in all interactions
