What will you do?

The Food Retail Account Manager is responsible for the sales and business development within our Food Retail sector. This is an inside sales role where you will be responsible for strategizing with the Director of Food Retail and Key Account Manager-Food Retail to secure new business while maintaining and maximizing current business within this program to meet our gas acquisition, service revenue, and gas sales goals.

Primary Place of Work

The ideal candidate will live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area with the ability to home office some days. This may require up to 20% travel to A-Gas sites, customers, suppliers, or other sites as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Meets or exceeds the monthly goal of gas acquired, gas sales, and service revenue via high volume contact model of new and existing food retail customers primarily through phone and email
• Continuous networking to develop and grow a new customer base while enhancing the relationship with current customers
• Utilize Salesforce CRM to capture and track key activity
• Responsible for new customer set up

• Ability and desire to complete B2B sales calls for long periods of time

• Engage and coordinate with the A-Gas support team and local Field Service Managers to coordinate gas acquisition, delivery and recovery
• Takes a proactive approach to account management by analyzing the gas received by existing customers for gas type and purity
• Conduct quarterly business reviews of account progress to ensure progress to targets.
• Monitors and evaluates the activities and associated product pricing of the competition in the industry in line with company guidelines.
• Responsible for managing their own time effectively, identifying barriers to getting the work done and seeking support when needed.

• Ability to work quickly, both independently and collaboratively
• Ability to leverage and understand both local and national regulations/legislation as it pertains to the Food Retail sector.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Customer Service on promotions and programs that have positive impact and provide superior customer service

• Any other assigned tasks as reasonably required.

Experience, Knowledge, and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with B2B sales experience, or 3 years previous B2B sales experience in lieu of degree.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong analytical skills
• Experience and Proficiency with Salesforce CRM
• Understanding of Food Retail Industry a Plus!

Pay for this role will be commiserate with candidate's experience. This role will be eligible for base pay plus an incentive commission plan.
