Responsibilities
- Operate bucket trucks and rigging equipment to access and trim trees near power lines.
- Safely perform tree removal and trimming to clear rights of way.
- Assist with land clearing projects for electric co-ops.
- Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents during operations.
- Maintain equipment and report any issues promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently.
- Support landscape maintenance tasks as needed.
- Contribute to a safe working environment aligned with company standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in tree trimming, rigging, or related field.
- Ability to operate bucket trucks and related equipment safely.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to tree work near electrical lines.
- Strong physical fitness and stamina.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.
- Experience with GIS or horticulture is a plus but not required.
- Prior experience working with electric co-ops is advantageous.
