A&G Transport Inc. is seeking a professional and customer-focused Customer Support Specialist to join our growing team in Oakland. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills and experience in the transportation/logistics industry who can help support daily customer operations and maintain strong client relationships.


What You’ll Do
  • Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer inquiries
  • Provide shipment and container updates to customers
  • Communicate with dispatch, drivers, and warehouse staff to ensure accurate information is relayed to customers
  • Maintain and update customer accounts, shipment records, and internal systems
  • Assist with scheduling, appointment coordination, and general customer support
  • Handle emails and follow up with customers in a timely and professional manner
  • Support day-to-day administrative and operational tasks

  • What We’re Looking For
    • 2 years of experience in the transportation, logistics, or trucking industry preferred
    • Strong customer service and communication skills
    • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
    • Highly organized and detail-oriented
    • Professional phone and email etiquette
    • Experience with dispatch, container tracking, or logistics systems is a plus
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
