If you’ve been fortunate enough to spend quality time with someone who’s older than you, you understand that nothing compares to the wisdom, strength of spirit and unique stories you’ll experience when you’re around senior adults. By volunteering with A.G. Rhodes Atlanta, you’ll have the opportunity to give back to your community and the seniors who’ve contributed so much to our lives. Whether it’s visiting one-on-one with residents or participating in group activities, you’ll find that we offer many volunteer opportunities that will make a lasting difference in your life - and in the lives of those we serve.
Through the magic of music and song, Music Therapy helps increase sensory stimulation, improve motor skills, and decrease isolation and depression. Volunteers are needed to provide support in our Music Therapy session, passing out instruments, encouraging residents, singing along, and tapping along to the beat. No music skills/experience needed; just a willingness to have fun and be engaged with our residents!
