PROGRAM MANAGER - AEROSPACE MANUFACTURING

Job Summary:
At A&G Machine, Program Managers are responsible for managing all aspects of customer contracts and relationships in line with requirements and the agreed scope. As the liaison between the company and its customers, Program Managers play a vital role in building and sustaining positive customer relationships.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support the successful fulfillment of contracts for the assigned program/customer (including changes) to comply with all the business and contractual requirements.
- Responsible for continuously monitoring the performance of the allocated programs, managing off-track items and reporting progress.
- Create & manage program improvements, including: cost improvements, pricing initiatives, program trend analysis.
- Provides input to make/buy decisions and strategic procurement decisions.
- Acts as the voice of the customer, and the representative of the company.
- Adheres to all program management standards and policies in accordance with the A&G Machine Program Management and/or Contracts QMS framework and contributes to process development.
- Actively executes Risk Management to control and mitigate the risk exposure and take advantage of opportunities.
- Supports the Estimating Team in the quoting/proposal process.
- Responsible for updating Sales orders and demand information in the ERP system and initiating demand management for serial purchase orders.
- Responsible for undertaking any other activity required to ensure successful delivery of the program.

Required Qualifications:
- First and foremost, must have the ability to problem solve and make educated decisions independently.
- Ability to think on the fly and respond to changing customer requirements.
- Written and oral communication skills to support teamwork and collaboration with estimating personnel, manufacturing personnel, engineering/planning teams, and support organizations.
- Bachelor's degree or 3 years of related exp. in lieu of degree.
- Experience with aerospace manufacturing.
- Knowledge of Aerospace specifications.
- U.S. Person per ITAR regulations to comply with export compliance requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Manufacturing processes including machining, assembly, and forming
- Program Management Professional Certification from industry organization such as PMI.
- Ability to create, manage and execute a project plan.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to achieve by influencing others.
- Experience in commercial, engineering or operations within the Aerospace industry.
- Ability to build relationships with customers and other external stakeholders.
- Understanding of the business models within Aerospace.
- Either completed or registered for acknowledged Program Management Certification.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project)
- Use of JobBoss ERP system.
