CNC Maintenance Technician (Tier 0 / Tier 1 / Tier 2)
A&G Machine – Auburn, WA Full‑time | Hourly | Pay DOE ($23–$45 /hr)

A&G Machine is hiring motivated and skilled individuals to join our Maintenance Department across three levels: Tier 0 Helper, Tier 1 Technician, and Tier 2 Senior Technician. Our team is responsible for maximizing machine uptime, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting CNC equipment, and supporting safe, efficient production operations.

Pay Ranges
- Tier 0 Helper: $23–$28/hr
- Tier 1 Technician: $29–$36/hr
- Tier 2 Senior Technician: $37–$45 /hr
Responsibilities
Tier 0 – Helper
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) tasks.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas.
- Use a CMMS for work orders and documentation.
- Follow all safety standards, procedures, and QMS requirements.
Tier 1 – Technician
- Follow OSHA, L&I, and other regulatory safety guidelines.
- Complete periodic maintenance per equipment lifecycle schedules.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and assist operators.
- Repair machinery to reduce downtime.
- Perform plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance tasks.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Tier 2 – Senior Technician
- Serve as a technical leader and reference point for the department.
- Direct and support other maintenance personnel.
- Contribute to documentation, PM improvements, and process updates.
- Perform advanced CNC diagnostics including:
- 5‑axis CNC alignment and leveling
- Fanuc controls
- Siemens or Fidia controls
- Renishaw calibration (laser, ballbar)
Qualifications
Tier 0 – Helper
- Must be a US Person (ITAR requirement).
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic math skills; ability to read a tape measure.
- Mechanical aptitude; ability to use basic hand tools.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Reliable attendance and strong professionalism.
- Ability to stand for 8 hours and lift 50 lbs.
- Forklift or overhead crane experience a plus.
Tier 1 – Technician
(Includes all Tier 0 requirements plus:)
- 4 years of equipment maintenance experience.
- Strong problem‑solving skills; able to work independently and in teams.
- Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, carpentry, or similar trades.
- Understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Experience using a CMMS.
Tier 2 – Senior Technician
(Includes all Tier 1 requirements plus:)
- Advanced troubleshooting experience on 5‑axis CNC machines.
- Experience with Fanuc controls.
- Experience with Siemens or Fidia controls.
- Experience with Renishaw calibration tools (laser, ballbar).
Physical Demands
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Moderate walking, standing, bending, kneeling, and reaching.
- Work around moving machinery and equipment.
