Warehouse Manager – Pool ConstructionRole & Responsibilities
- Oversee the inventory, storage, organization, and distribution of all pool construction materials, equipment, tools, and supplies.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels of pool kits, plumbing components, steel, electrical materials, tile, coping, finishes, chemicals, and other construction-related products to ensure job-site readiness.
- Coordinate the staging, loading, and delivery of materials to multiple construction sites in accordance with project schedules and installation timelines.
- Monitor material usage, reconcile inventory, and investigate discrepancies to minimize shortages, excess inventory, waste, and project delays.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse while ensuring compliance with company safety policies and OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, field supervisors, and purchasing personnel to forecast material requirements and support upcoming construction schedules.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy, quality, and completeness, documenting any damaged or missing items.
- Manage company tools, equipment, and warehouse assets by tracking assignments, scheduling maintenance, and ensuring equipment is operational and available for field crews.
- Assist with purchasing by identifying low inventory levels, coordinating orders with approved vendors, and monitoring delivery schedules.
- Develop and maintain warehouse processes that improve efficiency, inventory accuracy, and material accountability.
- Support field crews by fulfilling material requests promptly and resolving inventory-related issues to prevent job interruptions.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely while ensuring proper storage and handling of materials.
- Perform routine inventory counts, cycle counts, and year-end physical inventories to maintain accurate records.
- Lead by example through professionalism, accountability, and a commitment to safety, organization, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Forklift certification is required .
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous warehouse, inventory, or construction material management experience preferred.
- Experience in the swimming pool or construction industry is preferred.
- Ability to safely lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Basic computer skills with the ability to maintain inventory records and track materials.
- Ability to work independently while effectively coordinating with project managers, field supervisors, and field crews.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Pay: $40,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
