Senior Care Manager

Description

The Senior Care Manager leads a team of Care Managers and Caregivers in their client service management. The Senior Care Manager works within specific guidelines and procedures; applies advanced knowledge to solve moderately complex problems; receives assignments of clients and determines approach, resources, schedules and goals of the caregiver team.

• Participates in management meetings to provide territory specific trends and analysis to the executive management teams.
• Represents their service area as a subject matter expert for their area’s business activities.
• Manages and trains newer Care Manager on the team to help grow their skills and experience.
• Oversees the assessment and evaluation of clients' needs and requirements to achieve and/or maintain optimal wellness state by guiding clients/families toward
• Facilitates the interactions with various resources appropriate for the care and wellbeing of clients.
• Responsible for the decisions related to resources, approach, and tactical operations for projects and initiatives involving own departmental area.
• Engages in cross departmental collaboration, and participates in area meetings with other team members to ensure company objectives are being met.
• Maintains frequent contact with other care managers across the region.
• Manages the recruitment, onboarding, and termination of caregivers within their scope.
• Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
  
  

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in homecare preferred.
• Previous management in their field preferred.
• High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Office/administrative support skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Reliable vehicle for travel within area.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-task environment with competing priorities
