What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Phlebotomist position at A First Choice Staffing Service?
We are looking for an experienced phlebotomist. Completion of at least 750 clinical sticks, proving competency in diverse patient populations.
Full-time, Monday through Friday, 7 am-4:50 pm.
Part-time, Monday through Friday, 7 am-1 pm; hours vary depending on clinic volume. 20-24 hours a week.
Starting wages: $19-$21 DOE
Phlebotomist Skills and Qualifications:
- Adept at venipuncture, phlebotomy, and finger sticks
- Excellent verbal and written communication and documentation skills
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR)
- Interpersonal skills and compassion
- Analyzing information, critical thinking, and problem-solving
- Knowledge of infection control procedures
- Bedside manner
- Attention to detail
- Procedural and organizational skills
- Quality focus
- Basic computer skills
Must pass criminal background checks, drug screen, and current reference checks. Must be at least 18 to apply.
