Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience operating a lathe in a manufacturing environment
- Basic understanding of mechanical drawings, blueprints, and machining symbols.
- Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in machining or CNC lathe operation.
- Experience with CNC lathe programming and operation.
- Basic knowledge of metallurgy and steel properties.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate lathe machines to cut, shape, and finish steel parts according to technical drawings and specifications.
- Inspect finished products for quality and dimensional accuracy.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of lathe equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
- Adjust machine settings and tooling to accommodate different steel materials and part designs.
- Collaborate with production supervisors and quality control teams to meet production schedules and quality standards.
- Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues promptly to minimize production delays.
