Role Description Homecoming and Prom Stylists at A Finer Moment Spokane provide personalized styling support to customers selecting dresses and accessories for formal events. In this full-time, on-site role located in Spokane, WA, stylists greet customers, assess their preferences, and recommend gowns that complement body type, style, and event requirements. Daily tasks include assisting with fittings, maintaining the showroom floor and dress displays, managing dress registry information, and supporting inventory organization. Stylists also process sales transactions, answer questions about designers and garment care, and contribute to a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere for all shoppers. Collaboration with team members to prepare for peak seasons and special promotions is an important part of the role.
Qualifications
- Customer service and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse clients, understand their needs, and provide a positive in-store experience.
- Styling, fashion sense, and attention to detail to recommend gowns, accessories, and fit adjustments appropriate for formal events.
- Sales and basic retail operations skills, including handling transactions, using POS systems, and keeping accurate dress registry records.
- Organizational and time-management skills to manage appointments, support inventory upkeep, and prioritize tasks during busy seasons.
- Clear verbal communication skills and the ability to explain styles, fits, and care instructions in a friendly, accessible manner.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, assist customers in fitting rooms, and handle garments with care.
- Previous experience in retail, fashion, or customer-facing roles is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed during homecoming and prom seasons.
