What are the responsibilities and job description for the Big Data Analyst (Temporary) position at A&E Networks?
Work Locations: With the exception of some select roles that have In-Office requirements, most temporary or third party payroll workers should expect to work remotely, unless otherwise discussed.
THE ROLE: Big Data Analyst (Temporary)
A E Networks is seeking a Freelancer to engage in CRM/audience data analytics, consumer data privacy management, data management, and data QA to support addressable media data strategy for A E brands (A&E, HISTORY, LIFETIME, LMN, FYI) on digital platforms (desktop, mobile, connected devices), as well as linear television.
MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Perform analytic due diligence and QA across the CRM Data Ecosystem including CDP (Data Management Platform) and Databricks Big Data Environment
- querying against that Databricks environment to support business use cases and ad hoc requests
- Manage Privacy rules and PII data flows within the Data ecosystem (working with Legal)
- All PII Data flow privacy across Internal and Partner Platforms
- Support Business Use Cases through Data Requirements/Gap assessment and data flow requirements across Activation CRM Platforms (Iterable, Salesforce CDP, LiveRamp)
- Work with ETL engineers to structure and aggregate data to meet business and analytical needs
YOUR STORY:
- 5 years of experience preforming data analytics (both digital and traditional) in various data environments (CDP / Big Data / Traditional Relational)
- Experience in data management and data governance
- Databricks (Lakehouse)
- Salesforce CDP
- Experience interpreting technical documents including logical and physical data models
- Experience performing analysis with structured/semi structured databases using SQL (Python a Plus)
- Bachelor's degree in Applied Math, Engineering, Computer Science, Decision Science or heavy data analytics/programming equivalent
Please note project assignment associates are engaged to provide service to A E Networks on a temporary basis in connection with a specific project. Project assignment associates are hired and employed through a third party vendor with a duration/tenure of no longer than eighteen (18) months.
