Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle exterior washing, including hand washing, pressure washing, and using auto detailing equipment such as automotive buffers and polishing tools
- Conduct vehicle paint correction procedures to remove scratches, swirl marks, and surface imperfections for a flawless finish
- Detail vehicle interiors by vacuuming carpets and seats, cleaning upholstery, dashboard polishing, window tinting, and applying protective treatments
- Use cleaning equipment safely and effectively, adhering to safe work practices at all times
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness throughout the detailing process, ensuring all surfaces are spotless and well-maintained
- Assist with heavy lifting when moving or positioning vehicles or equipment within the auto detailing facility
- Follow standard operating procedures for car washes and detailing services to ensure consistent quality
Experience
- Prior experience in auto detailing or custodial work within an auto detailing facility is preferred
- Familiarity with vehicle operation, including standard passenger cars and manual transmissions
- Knowledge of automotive buffing, polishing techniques, and vehicle paint correction methods
- Experience with cleaning equipment such as buffers, steam cleaners, vacuums, and other detailing tools
- Understanding of safe work practices related to heavy lifting and handling cleaning chemicals
- Customer service skills that promote a positive experience for clients during vehicle servicing
- Basic knowledge of window tinting processes is a plus
