CDL-A Port Truck Driver

A. Duie Pyle is seeking an experienced, motivated full-time CDL-A Port Truck Driver to join our team in Carteret, NJ. You will be driving a day cab tractor pulling 40-45' ocean containers from Port Elizabeth/Newark, NJ or Staten Island, NY. to either Carteret, NJ or Parkesburg, PA.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

• Performing general warehouse tasks, including loading and unloading trailers
• Completing deliveries and or pickups to various location(s)
• Insuring the security and safety of the tractor and freight; adhering to all FMCSA safety regulations and guidelines
• Completing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

To be qualified for this position, you must possess the following:

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsement(s) required or willingness to obtain within 90 days from hire
• Minimum 1 year of recent Van or Container tractor trailer experience
• Currently hold, or obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older
• No more than three moving violations and or accidents within the last three years, subject to review
• Ability to communicate effectively; must be able to read, write and speak English
• Must be able to obtain and maintain TSA security clearance
