Position Overview

We are seeking a creative, organized, and technology-minded Marketing & Social Media Content Creator to lead our digital marketing efforts and strengthen our online presence. This position will be responsible for creating engaging content, managing our website and social media platforms, developing recruiting campaigns, producing marketing materials, and supporting company branding initiatives.

In addition to marketing responsibilities, this individual will serve as the company's primary resource for basic IT support, helping employees troubleshoot technology issues, assisting with software administration, and learning new business systems as the company continues to grow.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both creative marketing and technology, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys learning new software and systems.

Digital Marketing & Content Creation

• Develop and execute the company's digital marketing strategy across multiple platforms.
• Create engaging photo, video, and written content showcasing projects, employees, company culture, recruiting efforts, and customer success stories.
• Manage and grow the company's presence on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google Business Profile, and other social media platforms.
• Plan, schedule, and publish social media content using content calendars and scheduling tools.
• Monitor engagement, respond to messages and comments as appropriate, and recommend strategies to increase audience growth.
• Track social media analytics and campaign performance to improve reach and engagement.

Facebook & Digital Advertising

• Create, launch, and manage Facebook and Instagram advertising campaigns.
• Develop recruiting advertisements targeting skilled trades professionals.
• Create lead-generation campaigns for HVAC, Refrigeration, and Electrical services.
• Monitor advertising performance, budgets, and return on investment.
• Recommend improvements based on campaign data and analytics.

Website & Brand Management

• Maintain and update the company website with new projects, services, career opportunities, and company news.
• Ensure website content remains current, accurate, and optimized for user experience and search visibility.
• Assist with basic SEO improvements to increase online visibility.
• Maintain consistent branding across all digital platforms and printed materials.
• Develop marketing collateral including brochures, flyers, presentations, recruiting materials, newsletters, and promotional items.
• Capture and organize jobsite photography and videos for future marketing campaigns.

Recruiting & Employer Branding

• Partner with Human Resources to promote career opportunities across digital platforms.
• Create engaging recruiting campaigns highlighting company culture, employee benefits, travel opportunities, and career growth.
• Assist in producing onboarding materials, recruiting videos, and employee spotlight content.
• Support hiring events, job fairs, and community outreach initiatives.

Secondary Responsibilities

Basic IT & Technology Support

• Provide basic technical support for employee computers, printers, mobile devices, and office technology.
• Assist with employee onboarding by setting up computers, email accounts, software access, and company devices.
• Support employee offboarding by recovering equipment and disabling user access.
• Troubleshoot common software and hardware issues and escalate complex issues when necessary.
• Assist employees with Google Workspace, Procore, Housecall Pro, Gusto, Canva, and other business software.
• Maintain inventory of company technology assets and software licenses.
• Learn new software platforms quickly and assist with company-wide technology adoption.
• Document procedures and create simple user guides for internal systems.

Operational Support

• Collaborate with Human Resources and Operations on company communications and internal initiatives.
• Assist with employee appreciation events, company meetings, training materials, and presentations.
• Support process improvement initiatives related to marketing, technology, and communication.
• Perform additional administrative or technology-related duties as assigned.

Preferred Education

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, Graphic Design, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.

Experience

• 2 years of experience in digital marketing, social media management, content creation, or a related role.
• Experience creating and managing Facebook and Instagram advertising campaigns.
• Experience maintaining business websites using common website management platforms.
• Basic IT support or technical troubleshooting experience preferred.
• Experience working in the construction, HVAC, electrical, refrigeration, or service industry is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google Business Profile, and other social media platforms.
• Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (or similar design software), and video editing tools.
• Familiarity with Facebook Ads Manager and Meta Business Suite.
• Working knowledge of website management and basic SEO principles.
• Experience using Google Workspace.
• Ability to quickly learn new software platforms and business systems.
• Basic troubleshooting skills for Windows computers, mobile devices, printers, and common office technology.
