We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented person to join our refrigeration management team. Duties
- Lead and manage refrigeration projects from initiation through completion, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and safety standards.
- Develop comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar construction management software to coordinate resources and milestones effectively.
- Oversee the preparation and review of construction estimates utilizing HeavyBid or comparable estimating tools to ensure accurate budgeting.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide construction activities and verify compliance with design specifications.
- Manage contracts with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors, ensuring all terms are met and documented properly.
- Utilize ProCore, Bluebeam, and other construction management software for project documentation, communication, and collaboration across teams.
- Supervise on-site construction activities, ensuring quality control through inspections and adherence to OSHA safety regulations.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues promptly, and ensure safety protocols are followed diligently.
- Coordinate project procurement processes including pipeline management for materials and equipment delivery schedules.
- Implement quality assurance procedures by inspecting work quality against industry standards and client expectations.
- Maintain accurate project records including logs of inspections, incident reports, change orders, and progress updates.
- Lead team meetings to communicate project status updates, safety reminders, and upcoming milestones effectively.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal requirements related to construction practices and environmental regulations.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in managing large-scale projects from start to finish.
- Supervising experience leading teams of skilled tradespeople and subcontractors on active construction sites.
- Extensive knowledge of construction site safety standards including OSHA regulations.
- Proficiency in project scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or Primavera Enterprise; familiarity with Procore for document review is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings essential for precise execution of projects.
- Experience managing contracts, procurement pipelines, budgeting processes, and quality control measures within the construction industry.
- Ability to read electrical schematics using tools like an ohmmeter when necessary for troubleshooting or inspections.

General Duties:
- Provide leadership and supervision for refrigeration installation projects
- Support and assist the superintendent and project manager to ensure safe and efficient project completion
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of refrigeration systems
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies
- Manage and delegate tasks to a crew of 4-6 teammates, ensuring accountability and quality control
- Maintain a well-organized job site that reflects professionalism and efficiency
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential hazards or necessary repairs
- Ensure all installations meet company, industry, and regulatory standards
- Submit daily reports and photos per company expectations
- Attend job meetings on and off-site as required
- Keep inventory updated and ensure necessary materials are available for jobsite needs
- Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism, expertise, and a commitment to safety
Technical Skills & Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of supermarket refrigeration supervisory or management experience
- Expertise in pipe fitting, blueprints, detailing refrigeration, and fixtures
- Ability to pipe refrigeration equipment and pump down both single and multiplex refrigeration systems
- High-level mechanical skills in the use of hand and power tools
- E.P.A. Universal Certification required
- OSHA 30 Certification required
- First Aid / CPR Certification required
- High level of computer literacy and familiarity with project management tools
Clean driver's license required and drug-free workplace compliance
