Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role involves working closely with 1yr old children to support their growth, development, and learning through engaging activities and individualized attention.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Assess students' progress and adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of all learners, including those with special educational requirements.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and collaboration.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to maintain a conducive learning atmosphere.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Skills
- CDA is a PLUS
- Experience working with Infant/Toddler students is essential.
- Knowledge of Frog Street Curriculum is a plus.
- Proficiency in curriculum development tailored for early childhood education.
- Familiarity with early intervention strategies and standardized testing for young children is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff members.
- Ability to implement effective classroom management techniques that promote positive behavior among students.
- Ability to showcase in Class Observations
